Nigel Jenney
CEO of Fresh Produce Consortium
Nigel began his career with the Department of Agriculture & Fisheries for Scotland in the Glasgow Wholesale Market. In 1988 he moved to a senior management role in Heinz before becoming Managing Director of a potato packing business in Yorkshire and subsequently became Managing Director of a leading UK farmers' co-operative in Lincolnshire.
CEO of FPC from 2004 he also holds a seat on the board of the EU equivalent, is Vice Chairman of its Wholesale Division and regularly attends EU fresh produce advisory meetings. Nigel has held a directorship on the Gangmaster Licensing Authority board since its inception.
Minister Counsellor ZHOU Xiaoming

Mr. ZHOU has years of experience in international development cooperation. He was previously the Deputy Director General of the Shenzhen Bureau of Foreign Investment for two years and Head of the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Medicines & Health Products for four years. This is his third diplomatic term having previously been stationed in Papua New Guinea and Australia before coming to the UK.
Caroline Keeling

Caroline Keeling has a BSC (Chem) and MSC in food science which she obtained from University College Dublin (UCD). She joined Keelings in 1994 and in 2005 took over as Group Managing Director. Caroline is also an Ambassador for The Women's Fund for Ireland.
Keelings is a 100% Irish-owned family business, focused on growing, sourcing, shipping, produce solutions software, marketing, sales and distributing fresh produce. Its head office is located in FoodCentral, North County Dublin. Keelings turnover is over €300m. The Group employs over 2,000 people throughout 5 business divisions - Keelings Retail, Keelings Farm Fresh, Keelings Market, Keelings International and Keelings Solutions. Keelings divisions are based in Ireland, UK, Europe, Asia, Middle East and North Africa and operate in the 6 continents.
Elizabeth Linder
Facebook Inc
Elizabeth Linder joined Facebook four years ago during the very week the company reached its 100 million user milestone. After building Facebook's public relations strategy in Australia, Canada, Europe, India, and Japan as part of a small and growing international communications team, Elizabeth was asked to lead the public policy team's Europe, Middle East & Africa government and politics outreach programme. Elizabeth serves as Facebook's strategist and advisor for government agencies, public administrations, and think tanks across the region at the local, national, and international levels. She consults Members of the European Parliament, political representatives at the national and local levels, diplomats, public sector communications teams, and academics on building out their Facebook strategies. Prior to joining Facebook, Elizabeth focused on politics and education at YouTube as part of Google's Global Communications & Public Affairs team.

Bray Leino
Dom Lane is a Marcomms consultant, idea junky, info sponge and imaginarian. He has worked in communications for 15 years, earning his food and drink stripes as events and sponsorship manager at the Soil Association. His role now extends across the whole of the Bray Leino group, with a remit to ensure the delivery of ingenious integrated campaigns. With a passion for publicity-generating creativity and savvy strategic solutions, Dom has a reputation for spearheading effective campaigns which get right to the heart of the issues to motivate change. He sits on the judging panel of several national food and drink awards, and has acted as spokesman for a variety of campaigns.
Peter Dent
Prophet
Peter Dent (Head of Operations, Prophet PLC) is passionate about delivering business improvement and is a great advocate of the value of integrated supply chain systems (ERP) as a key enabler. This year he joined Prophet PLC to head up the software implementation team. Prior to this he operated for six years as an independent consultant across a number of food businesses.
Prophet PLC is a global supply chain software company, with offices in the UK, South Africa and North America.
Andy Garton
Morrisons
Andrew lives and breathes the fresh produce industry and is hugely passionate about British farming and sustainable sourcing. He joined Morrisons Supermarket in July 2004 in the buying function, prior to which he completed a degree in Agriculture and Marketing at Harper Adams University College.
Andrew has worked extensively across all areas in produce trading, specialising in fruit and worldwide procurement. Hobbies include skiing, Rugby and eating out as well as enjoying the British countryside.
Noel Kershaw

From a wholesale background, Noel founded food service business Delifresh based in the award-winning Bradford Wholesale Market over a decade ago, opening a secondary facility in Newcastle in 2005. With an annual turnover in excess of £14m and employing almost 100 staff this successful business continues to grow year on year with continual investment supplying group and independent hotels and restaurants throughout the north of England.
In 2007 Noel established the United Fresh Consortium to form a network of non-competing, owner managed supply partners to service national accounts based on regional supply.
Noel is also President of Bradford St James Market's Tenants Association - Wholesale Market of the Year 2011 & 2012
Theo Randall
Celebrity Chef & Theo Randall Restaurant
Travelling across rural Italy on family holidays as a child, Theo shared his parents' enthusiasm for good food and wine which he says 'stuck' with him.
After a four year apprenticeship with Max Magarian at Chez Max, Theo joined The River Café on the Thames, where he put his relationships with small artisan producers to good use. After spending a year away working with the legendary Alice Walters, he returned to become head chef at The River Café.
In 2006 he opened his own first restaurant, Theo Randall at The InterContinental Park Lane. The restaurant was awarded its first accolade in 2008 - 'Italian Restaurant of the Year' at the London Restaurant Awards, a fantastic tribute to Theo's dedication and passion.
Neil Sanderson
Florette
Neil Sanderson is managing director of Soléco UK, parent company of fresh produce specialists Florette and Salads to Go, and part of the Agrial group of companies. Florette is the UK's number-one prepared salad brand, stocked across major retailers and convenience stores nationwide. Salads to Go provides prepared salads and vegetables under retailer and licensed brands to both retail and foodservice customers. Neil has over 20 years' experience from across the food industry in UK and Europe, with previous MD roles in businesses such as Findus group, Tryton Foods (Aunt Bessies) and Danone. He joined Soléco in 2011 and is focused on maximising the growth potential of Florette and Salads to Go across the fresh convenience category.

Jan Lloyd is Chief Executive at Covent Garden Market Authority, and has broad commercial and operational experience in both the private and public sector along with over 15 years' experience in general management. Jan has also been Managing Director of both Yoplait Dairy Crest and S C Johnson respectively.
Colin Smith
Albert Bartlett
Colin has worked in the supermarket industry for 30 years, starting in Sainsbury's before moving to Tesco. He finished his supermarket career with Somerfield. Colin joined Albert Bartlett as the International Director in Autumn 2010.
Judy Whittaker
Thanet Earth
Judy Whittaker is communications manager of Fresca Group. Since 2007 she has seen the Thanet Earth site develop from a muddy brassica field into a multimillion pound investment in protected horticulture. Her role has been to help find an identity and image for the business, to help it connect with the industry and the community, and to manage the media interest that's arisen. Working in a diverse role, Judy's remit includes the other Fresca Group businesses too, including Mack, the group's oldest and perhaps best-known business. With a background as a copywriter, Judy was a partner in a marketing communications agency before she joined Fresca.
Michael Barker
Editor, Fresh Produce Journal
Michael Barker is editor of the Fresh Produce Journal. He was previously fresh foods editor at major food and drink weekly The Grocer, and has also worked as editor of Commercial Grower and news editor at the Grower magazine. His first novel, The Improbable Tale of How I Saved The Universe, is published in July.

Nigel Jenney has been chief executive of the Fresh Produce Consortium since 2004. He is also vice-chairman of Freshfel's wholesale division and a director of the Gangmasters Licensing Authority's Board.
After a senior management position at Heinz, Nigel became MD of a potato packing business, converting it into a limited company, and expanding customers to include major multiples/manufacturers. As MD of a vegetable co-operative, he focused on producing fresh and prepared products across multiple sites.
Coming from a family-owned glasshouse business, Nigel was educated at Writtle College and joined the Department of Agriculture & Fisheries for Scotland.
Nigel Harris

Nigel Harris started his career in fresh produce accompanying his father to market in the early hours of the morning working in what is now Fresh Direct. In 1995 Nigel took over as Managing Director making significant investment in to facilities and the acquisition of rival Caterfresh in 2005.
He supports British smaller independent growers and created the local sourcing arm Fresh Direct Local four years ago.
With a turnover of £140m, Fresh Direct is the leading, independent supplier of fruits, vegetables and salad to the foodservice sector and remains a pragmatic family run business.
Now CEO of Fresh Direct Holdings, Nigel concentrates on acquisitions and strategic initiatives - he is renowned for his passion to improve the foodservice sector and fresh produce industry as a whole.
